Refund Policy

This Refund Policy describes how refunds work on the UCM.ai platform for API service credits.
1. Automatic Refunds (API Call Failures)
UCM.ai automatically refunds credits when an API call fails due to upstream service errors. No action is required from you.
Refunds are issued automatically when:

| Server Error | 5xx | The upstream API provider experienced an internal error |
| Rate Limited | 429 | The upstream API provider rate-limited the request |
| Source Error | 422 | The upstream API returned an error for the provided input |
When a refund occurs, the API response will include "amount_charged": "0", indicating no credits were deducted for the failed call.
Refunds are NOT issued for:
- Client errors (4xx other than 422/429) caused by invalid parameters you provided
- Successful API calls that returned unexpected results
- Network timeouts on the client side
2. Purchased Credits
Credits purchased through the dashboard via Stripe are subject to the following refund terms:
- Within 7 days: Full refund available if purchased credits have not been used. Contact us at admin@ucm.ai.
- Partially used credits: Refunds for the unused portion may be issued at our discretion within 7 days of purchase.
- After 7 days: Purchased credits are non-refundable.
- Free credits: Registration bonuses, claim bonuses, referral bonuses, and redemption code credits are not eligible for refund.
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund for purchased credits:
- Email us at admin@ucm.ai with:
- Your dashboard email address
- Date of purchase
- Amount purchased
- Reason for refund request
- We will review your request and respond within 3 business days.
- Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method via Stripe.
4. Account Termination
If your account is terminated:
- By you: Unused purchased credits may be refunded upon request within 30 days.
- By us (for Terms violation): Refunds are at our discretion.
5. Disputes
If you believe a credit deduction was incorrect, contact us at admin@ucm.ai with your agent ID and transaction details. We will investigate and issue a correction if warranted.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
